Today’s Energy Jobs Are in Solar, Not Coal
Last year, the solar industry employed many more Americans than coal, while wind power topped 100,000 jobs. (LINK)
However, this only shows that Solar Power is the least efficient energy source. This is easily shown by comparing Megawatt Hours per worker.
In other words, producing the same amount of electricity requires one coal worker, two natural gas workers – 12 wind industry employees or 79 solar workers.
