AGW Scam exposed yet again.

A year ago, this blog reported United Nation’s top climate change official Christiana Figueres' press release where she admitted that the UNFCCC's aim was not to save the world from ecological calamity but to destroy capitalism.

Another IPCC official Ottmar Edenhofer in November 2010 issued very similar thoughts. From 2008 to 2015 Edenhofer served as Co-Chair of Working Group III of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)

But one must say clearly that we redistribute de facto the world's wealth by climate policy. Obviously, the owners of coal and oil will not be enthusiastic about this. One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole.
And still the MSM push the AGW hoax. Still the shrill call us deniers. Turn the mirror around.

Richard Branson - the AGW fraud and his carbon (dioxide) footprint.

Virgin SpaceShipTwo

Richard Branson has been taken in by the (Man-made) Global Warming hoax. Branson is quoted as saying:
those who are skeptical of man-made global warming should “get out of our way,”
And yet Burt Rutan, the designer of Virgin's SpaceShipTwo (2009 Funded by Sir Richard Branson) has tried to make Branson aware of the hoax. Burt Rutan calls Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) a Fraud
Burt Rutan was Time magazine's "100 most influential people in the world, 2004" andInc. Magazine's "Entrepreneur of the Year.Newsweek called him "the man responsible for more innovations in modern aviation than any living engineer." (After this, Time may call him the greatest persona non grata of the year.)

Rutan has received hundreds of awards including: Presidential Citizen's Medal, Two Collier Trophies, Academy of Achievement Golden Plate and the Charles Lindbergh Award. He has developed 44 new aircraft types since 1972 including; Voyager (1986 RTW-non refueled), SpaceShipOne (2004 Funded by Paul Allen, winner of X-prize) and the first commercial spaceship - SpaceShipTwo (2009 Funded by Sir Richard Branson). Virgin is set to order 10 supersonic Boom jets, which the manufacturer claims will herald a new era of 'affordable' supersonic travel. It is hard to find, from the myriad Virgin companies in the Virgin Group, how many aeroplanes Virgin has in its fleets.

However, the General Aviation Manufacturers Association reports

Over 312,000 general aviation aircraft including 17,770 Passenger Aircraft
If Richard Branson really believes in the falsified AGW Hoax,  can his inner voice juxtapose his airline income with his AGW belief and still have a clear conscience?

Tributes to the late Professor R M (Bob) Carter

Fred Singer - I feel so privileged to have known and worked with Bob and to have shared the panel talks last month in Paris.   “He died with his boots on.”

Lord Christopher Monckton - We will remember him. He was our clearest voice of truth.

James Delingpole - We all loved Bob; we’re all going to miss him. He smiled as he fought and as Fred says he died with his boots on. What those of you who missed hanging with him in Paris last December should know is that he was on splendid form – hail, happy, looking like he was going to go on forever. Good old Bob with his dark Satanic beard and his impish smile. What a hero! What a friend! Just the kind of guy you want in the foxhole next to you!

Tom Harris International Climate Science Coalition (ICSC) - Professor Carter was a very fine man — compassionate, intelligent and still hard working long after most people have retired. He will be sorely missed by many people. Bob was a great supporter of me and ICSC in general, helping providing the solid, rational science foundation to our work to bring climate realism to the general public. I feel privileged to have known Bob in the last few years of his life. I also feel privileged to have spent some time with him in Paris, DC, Chicago, NY and here in Ottawa when he was on a speaking tour of Canada.

Anthony Watts - To say that he was a man of good cheer and resilience would be an understatement. He not only bore the slings and arrows thrown his way by some of the ugliest people in the climate debate, he reciprocated with professionalism and honor, refusing to let them drag him into the quagmire of climate ugliness we have seen from so many climate activists. His duty, first and foremost was to truth.

Marc Morano at Climate Depot - Bob was a man of great courage, intellect and wit. I am deeply saddened by his passing. He easily seemed a decade younger than his 74 years with his youthful looks and energy level. the world of science has lost a true champion.

Willie Soon, Astrophysicist - …a true gentleman scientist and a friend and colleague that will be sorely missed … Bob has given everything he got in trying to educate the world on the danger of

How to Scam the System & Disadvantage Political Opponents by ‘Giving the Power Back to the People’, all in the Interests of ‘Democracy

Government Says the Voting System they Introduced Previously is Undemocratic Because Now the Minor Parties are Using the Rorts Against the Major Parties

As Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull points out, the current voting system created by the major parties 30 years ago is so corrupt and undemocratic it must be changed urgently:

“We know that what has been happening with the Senate voting system has been anything but democratic and anything but transparent….. the government has introduced legislation to reform the Senate voting system. It will simplify the ballot paper and stop the gaming of the system by preference whisperers and backroom deals ……Voters had no idea where their preferences were going to go, and, in reality, many of the outcomes of the Senate election did not fairly reflect the wishes of the people”

In other words, the current electoral rort which was introduced by, and was exploited by, the major parties for 30 years to subvert democracy and consolidate their monopoly on power, must now be

Climate Council Cannot Count

No Curry for YOU!
Tim Flannery's Climate Council cannot count. We have pointed out before that they are of no account, but now, due to some Flim-Flammery they have reduced the  International Council for Science (ICSU) list of 20 women making waves in the climate change debate to 19.
So here’s a list of twenty women making waves in the climate change debate, offered in alphabetical order, and without any men to get in the way. We hope it shows off some of the quiet – and not so quiet – power women do have on this issue, and the diversity of the debate. Gender aside, this list reflects other diversities of the climate debate, with expertise in financial systems, workers’ rights, science, politics, development, media, diplomacy and more.
The Flim Flam Climate Council reduced the list to 19.

Because the list contained Dr Judith Curry. The ICSU's bio of Judith:

Blogger and scientist favoured by sceptics
Judith Curry is fast becoming the go-to scientist favoured by the more sceptical ends of the climate debate, though she is more than capable of making a name for herself in her own right. An established climate scientist, well known for her research on hurricanes and Arctic ice, Curry is currently Chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Troubled by the way those who do not fit with scientific consensus are treated by the scientific community and broader environmental discourse she regularly speaks up for the role of dissent and free speech in climate science. It is fair to say this doesn’t always win her friends in either science or the green movement. Curry is an active blogger, reflecting her commitment to transparency of the debate within science, and can be found on Twitter@curryja.  (bold added)
Tony Thomas has a well written piece on the Climate Council's chicanery for Quadrant Online.
The Climate Council’s deletion of Judith Curry from the 20 Women list bears a family resemblance to the revered Soviet practice which saw photos that originally included purged-and-shot apparatchiks doctored, the unwanted amanda mckenzieindividuals’ images made to disappear. At least the Soviets owned the photographs they doctored. The Climate Council doesn’t own the ICSU 20 women list and has no more right to delete  a woman it hates than to insert its own choice into the list. Perhaps we’re lucky the Council didn’t decide to re-make the list into 20 by replacing Curry with its winsome CEO Amanda McKenzie (left), who is more the telegenic cutie. That way, the odd, eye-catching numeral 19 could have been avoided.
The Climate Council’s monkeying with a third party’s survey-based list hardly validates its claim:
We exist to provide independent, authoritative climate change information to the Australian public. Why? Because our response to climate change should be based on the best science available.

Computer Models Can't Work

Dr Tim Ball writing for TheRebel:Media

Dr Tim points out a 2008 statement by  Tim Palmer, climate modeler at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts in Reading England in New Scientist:
I don’t want to undermine the IPCC, but the forecasts, especially for regional climate change, are immensely uncertain.

Delegates at Paris Climate Conference were all led to believe the long-term predictions were possible and accurate.
Tim Ball then wrote:

With global climate models, it is worse because the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) leave out major mechanisms. They acknowledged one of the limitations in the Third Assessment Report (TAR) when they wrote:
In climate research and modeling, we should recognize that we are dealing with a coupled non-linear chaotic system, and therefore that the long-term prediction of future climate states is not possible.
Nobody provided that quote at the recent Paris Climate Conference. They were all led to

To BoM and MSM, Anything above Average is a Scorcher.

Chris Gilham

Leo's small carbon footprint rowboat at the World Cup
Leonardo DiCaprio probably bases his greenhouse beliefs on what he hears and reads in the mainstream media (MSM) to determine that the climate has never been hotter and is threatening our entire species.

Example from page 3 of The West Australian newspaper this morning …

The four days of 40º+ were established because Perth Metro snuck over 39.9ºC for about 10 minutes on 10 February. The four days averaged 41.1ºC vs 42.8ºC in the 1933 four day run to which they refer.

Perth Metro's seven summer days above 40ºC don’t match Perth Airport’s record 10 days above 40ºC averaging 41.2ºC in 1961/62 (Perth Airport this summer was also seven days above 40ºC and averaging 41.8ºC).

Perth Metro’s warmest day of 42.5ºC on 8 February compares to a Metro record of 44.5ºC in 1997 and an RO record of 46.2ºC in 1991.

WA’s hottest 2015/16 summer day of 47.8ºC on 12 February at Mardie compares to Mardie’s summer records since 1957 of 48.8ºC in December 1986, 49.0ºC in Jan 2010 and 50.5ºC in Feb 1998.

Perth Metro’s February 2016 mean temperature was 25.0ºC compared to the station’s 1994-2015 average of 25.1ºC.

Perth Metro’s DJF summer mean temperature was 24.5ºC compared to the station’s 1994-2015 summer average of 24.2ºC.

Within the same timeframe, Perth Airport’s ACORN 2016 February mean temperature was 25.1ºC compared to the station’s 1994-2015 Feb average of 25.3ºC.

Perth Airport’s DJF summer had a mean of 24.6ºC compared to the station’s 1994-2015 summer average of 24.4ºC.

Perth Metro's 2015/16 summer mean max of 31.2ºC fell well short of the Perth RO record hot summer of 32.0ºC in 1977/78, and it was Perth Metro’s coolest summer mean max since 2008/09.

At beachside Swanbourne where West Australians fled to escape the scorcher, the Feb 2016 mean was 0.3ºC below the station's 1993-2015 average, while the summer mean was 0.2ºC above average.

Brisbane’s Courier Mail promotes one of its stories today with "It has been a ridiculously hot summer but we can expect some cooler weather and lots of rain coming up.” linking here.

Courier Mail Photo. Picture: David Caird.
"He said the El Niño continued to dominate the climate in Australia, keeping it hot over summer, but the epic weather event, which has a drying influence, is expected to weaken in the middle of this year.” "Right across the country we saw a scorching summer with warmer than average temperatures. Dr Watkins said southern parts of the country experienced short, sharp heat events but WA suffered through prolonged heatwaves." “In early February there were four days in a row over 40C in Perth, equalling the record set in 1933,” he said. "On February 11, nine of the hottest spots in the world were in WA"
The ridiculously hot summer of 2015/16 in Brisbane saw a mean temp of 25.8ºC compared to the station’s 1999-2015 summer average of 25.4ºC.

Brisbane 2015/16 summer mean maximum was 30.6ºC, cooler than the summers of 2001/02, 2003/04 and 2005/06. It was 30.5ºC in 1888/89 and Brisbane’s hottest summer mean maximum at any location was 32.0ºC in 1911/12.

This at the peak of what’s said to be one of the biggest El Niños on record. The BoM and MSM are devoted to climate change and it seems that anything above average is a scorcher, a summer of extremes or among the hottest on record.
