Tax, not stop, Fossil Fuels say the AGW Cult

Hydropower is a renewable source of energy which uses the force or energy of moving water to generate power.

Thoughts from the USA by GWR member

 Joe Tomlinson:

I know this has been said before, but it bears repeating. The leaders of the AGW Cult do not want to see the end of the use of carbon fuel; rather, they want to tax the use of carbon fuel. It is a taxing scheme and nothing else.

There are currently two viable and safe sources of carbon-free energy: hydroelectric and nuclear. The cult leaders oppose both. Instead of promoting the building of dams, they want to blow up existing dams.

Instead of promoting the building of safe nuclear facilities, they vehemently oppose nuclear.

Why?

The answer can only be one thing. They know the only viable replacement for nuclear and hydroelectric is carbon-burning power plants, and they see their political power tied to taxing that use of carbon.

Mark my word on this: If they [the US - ed] get their carbon tax (and it looks like they will), and if at any time in the future a new power source is invented that can power cars and homes and factories safely without the use of carbon fuel, they will oppose it vehemently.

Their empire and political power will be dependent on keeping the world hooked on carbon fuel and taxing the same. They will be completely unwilling to give up the use of carbon fuels.
