All Scientists are Sceptics ~Professor Bob Carter

Whenever someone asserts that a scientific question is “settled,” they tell me immediately that they don’t understand the first thing about science. Science is never settled. Dr David Deming

Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of the science of climate change is the lack of any real substance in attempts to justify the hypothesis ~Professor Stewart Franks

Say Yes to an Election

How can Unions finance an Ad like this? The imposts of the tax on carbon dioxide will cause unemployment for union members by causing some businesses to close their doors and some businesses to move offshore.

How dare they depict a colourless invisible gas like CO2 with picture like that.

And that power station pictured. That is a decommissioned South London Power station at Battersea.

As Radio 2GB's Andrew Moore says: "(Julia) can't even tell the truth about lying!"

  1. Well said!
Propaganda will not change a fact.

  2. The last Union ad campaign instilled our two Labor worst ever governments. How's that working out for us?

  3. You are not the only Australian who wants an election. How can one be brought about?

  4. Awesome! Can't believe I'm actually hoping a labor politician in a marginal seat develops a serious health issue and has to resign! They've driven me to it! I want to be able to continue feeding my family.

  5. To borrow a line from the Whitlam era - It's time for a change - a change of government

  6. They(Kate & Michael) might be acclaimed actors but you would not want to cheat of them if you went to a climate change quiz night. Obviously not the sharpest knives in the drawer. I don't like your chances of going home with too many prizes. I for the life of me cannot understand why two such high profile individuals would put their names to such unfounded garbage that is potentially so damaging to our economy. Sounds like the Y2K virus all over again, but you have to be envious of those that are making a good quid out of it !!!!

  7. The worst aspect isn't the actual tax, it's the total trashing of the democratic process of this country. We the people voted against a price on carbon in the last election. Our current PM gave a solemn promise she would NOT introduce a carbon tax and yet she is doing it anyway.
Say hello to autocracy and totalitarianism because democracy is dead!

  8. Anonymous said “ .. it's the total trashing of the democratic process of this country .. ” but it is not only pulling the plug on democracy in Australia. Because the voting public have only just started getting wise to this nonsense about the essential life-supporting substance carbon dioxide being a threat to life on earth there is a serious threat to democracy wherever it exists. The UK’s Global Warming Policy Foundation published an interesting article on this subject in “Germany ‘Sliding Head Over Heels Into Eco-Dictatorship’” (http://www.thegwpf.org/international-news/3095-germany-sliding-head-over-heels-into-the-eco-dictatorship.html).

A wise Australian bird called peggyb sent out an E-mail today linking to Global Research’s “Empower Yourself to Fight the Power” thread (http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=25012). It starts with “..The enemies of truth, freedom, and justice are highly mobilized, well funded, and efficiently organized. The institutional structures of power, whether local, national or global, are effective mechanisms through which the ruling groups of society establish and entrench their influence, build consensus among each other, brainwash and expand their control over the masses and society as a whole. Whether they take the form of think tanks, universities, governments, corporations, militaries, intelligence agencies, NGOs, media conglomerates, international organizations, philanthropic foundations, they are institutions of control and conquest .. ”.

An excellent example of this is your Government’s Climate Commission and its recently released propaganda bulletin “The Critical Decade – Climate science, risks and responses”. The article by Joanna Nova listed in the “Bog Archive” covers it (http://joannenova.com.au/2011/05/climate-commission-report-debunked/).

All Australians should have a careful read of those three articles, add their name to the vote for an election and vote “No” on the Greens’ poll (http://sarah-hanson-young.greensmps.org.au/polls/do-you-support-greens-plan-emissions-trading).

  15. The Prime Minister and the Labor party has traded the soul of Australia and Australians for a mess of pottage. Call an election now.
